A. D. LIGGETT, JR.Mr. A. D. Liggett, Jr., 88, retired dairy farmer and former longtime resident of Leftwich Bridge Community, died Sunday, December 29, 2002, at his residence on Tindell Lane.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White and Calvin Hardison officiating. Burial will be in Morton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.The Maury County native was the son of the late A. D. Liggett, Sr., and Estella Cheek Liggett. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ where he had served as elder for many years.Survivors include his wife of seventy years, Mae Thomas Hardison Liggett of Columbia; two daughters, Nancy (Hershel) Davis of Lewisburg; Barbara (Charles) Stofel of Columbia; six Knoxville; Stanley (Gina) Davis and Sheldon (Pam) Davis, both of Lewisburg; John Stofel and George (Shannon) Stofel, both of Columbia; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Aldon Liggett, Paul Liggett, and Willie Oran Liggett.Pallbearers will be Stephen Davis, Scott Davis, Stanley Davis, Sheldon Davis, John Stofel, and George Stofel.grandchildren, Stephen (Barbara) Davis of Murfreesboro; Scott (Lea) Davis of
