Mrs. Addie Warf Peach, 92, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her residence on Les Robinson Road in the Theta Community. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Larry McGranahan and family members officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in the Theta Community. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late Elmer T. Warf and Bertha Judd Warf. Mrs. Peach joined the Theta United Methodist Church in 1929 and was the longest active member of the congregation. As a young lady, she would accompany Dr. J. E. Woodard to homes in the community and assisted him in the delivery of many babies. She was a member of the Theta Home Demonstration Club (FCE) over 50 years and participated in all activities in the Theta Community her entire life, even to the extent of picking up trash on the side of the road. She was married in August, 1933 to Loyd Peach who died April 21, 1979. Survivors include daughters, Marie (Dorris "Rose") Beard of Columbia and Anita (Calvin) Cheek of Theta; son, Larry (Jorgi) Peach of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Gaye Baker Peach of Santa Fe; sisters, Jessie Hines of Columbia, Carolyn Perry of Theta, and Jean (Jack) Willis of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Jackie (Randy) Hall, Johnny (Anita) Yancey, Vicki Akers, Cindy (Ben) Shapiro, Sonya Potts, and Crystal (Trampus) Sweeney; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Pam Honey. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Peach; sisters, Elizabeth Priest, Rachel Chandler, and Joan Farris; brothers, H. A. Warf and Buck Warf; two grandchildren, Kristi Peach and Larry Hill Peach, Jr. Active pallbearers are Johnny Yancey, Randy Hall, Jay Sears, Al Bohannon, Austin Collier, Joseph Shapiro, and Rob Hall. Friends in the Theta Community will serve as honorary pallbearers.
