Mr. Albert Myles Scribner, Jr., 54, resident of Indian Camp Springs Road, died Monday, November 1, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30p.m., Thursday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Barry Farris officiating. Burial will be in Scribners Mill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4-8p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was a graduate of Columbia Central High School. He was employed by the Columbia Police Department, the Spring Hill Police Department, the Maury County Ambulance Service and the American Bank Note Co. He was a member of Spring Hill Masonic Lodge #124 and attended the Church of Christ. Survivors include his parents, Albert M. Scribner, Sr. and Lillian Vaughan Scribner both of Columbia; one daughter, Rebecca Jean Scribner of Columbia; one son, Albert Myles, (Angel) Scribner, III of Columbia; three grandchildren, Braxton Turner, Amanda Scribner and Allie Scribner; two sisters, Mrs. Pam Farris of Culleoka, Mrs. Sherry (Allen) Rogers of Tullahoma; and four nieces and nephews, Justin Farris, Byran Farris, Brenton Rogers and Brittany Rogers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Lula Adams Scribner and Lemual and Maggie Scott Angus. Pallbearers will be Allen Rogers, Justin Farris, Brenton Rogers, Byran Farris, Tony Sowell and Al Curry. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee "Hoss" Jones, J.B. and Ann Lamar, Billy and Jennifer Osborne, William and Charlotte Pulley and employees of American Bank Note Co.
