Alton B. Fulbright

Alton B. Fulbright, age 93, peacefully passed away at home in Culleoka, TN on April 16, 2019. Born March 3, 1926 in Fairplay, SC. Al, or Bill, as known by his family and friends, was a man of integrity, compassion and of great humor. He proudly served his country and is a Navy veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Charlotte Ann Hardin Fulbright, wife of 65 years. His parents, Ernest Winn and Sally Gertrude Fulbright and eight of his brothers and sisters. Survived by his brother, Arthur Lee Fulbright, daughters, Sally H. Fulbright Tucker (Joe) and Polly Winn Fulbright Irvin (Tad); four grandchildren, Charles Jonathan Tucker, Joseph Claiborne Tucker, Angela Leigh Irvin Tucker, and Coty Hampton Irvin and 8 great-grandchildren. The family is hosting a “Celebration of Al’s Life”, Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the home of Polly and Tad Irvin, 4205 Pulaski Hwy, Culleoka, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to your favorite charity.
