View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Amaryllis “Amy” June Hale Ingrum, 82, former resident of Columbia, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Sevierville. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Thornton. The family will visit with family and friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family suggests that all in attendance follow CDC guidelines and facial coverings are required. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born July 12, 1938 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Virgil Hale and the late Gracie Irene Sherrill Hale. On July 20, 1956, she married Arthur Herman Ingrum whom preceded her in death April 10, 2013. She attended junior high in Columbia and graduated from Columbia Central High School class of 1956. From 1964 -1988 she worked for Publix Shirt Company and at the age of 52, earned her Associate’s degree in Accounting from Columbia State Community College. Mrs. Ingrum was a member of Pathways Church in Sevierville. Survivors include children, Rita Ingrum (Michael “Mike”) Owenby of Sevierville; John Stephen Ingrum of Columbia; grandson, Patrick Stephen Ingrum of Columbia; nephews, Nathan Wayne Hale of Murfreesboro; Stephen Hale of Japan; sister-in-law, Barbara Hale of La Vergne; and several great nieces, great nephews, and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Linden Hale, and Bruce Nathan Hale. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
