MRS. JOE T. JOHNSON Mrs. Amy Eula Powell Johnson, 68, widow of Joe T. Johnson and a resident of the Natchez Trace in the Santa Fe Community, died Friday, August 30, 2002 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Dennis Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in the Greenbrier Cemetery in Williamson County. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late James F. and Minnie Rogers Powell and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Melvin Johnson of Santa Fe; a daughter-in-law, Therese Johnson of Columbia; four brothers, Bill (Doris) Powell of Hickman County, Ralph (Jane) Powell of Williamson County, Carlos Powell of Hickman County, James Powell of Columbia; two sisters, Jennie (Samuel) Taylor and Betty Richardson, both of Hickman County; five grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Bradford of Lyles, Julie Johnson of Santa Fe, Natalie Johnson, Billy (Michelle) Johnson and Kent Johnson, all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Johnson and Donald Johnson and a brother, Jack Powell. Pallbearers are Josh Bradford, Jeremy Thomasson, Kent Johnson, Jeff Fox, Tim Fox and Billy Johnson.
