Andrew Forrest Rettke, 22, passed away July 22, 2017, at San Antonio Military Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. A Remembrance Service was held Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his parents' home. The family will visit with friends Friday, July 28, 2017, from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church in Columbia. Inurnment will follow on Sunday at Mount Carmel Church Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with announcements. His early years were spent in Murfreesboro and San Antonio, Texas. A 2013 graduate of Madison High School, Andrew joined the Army Reserve and was the recipient of Certificate of Achievement. In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Dan & Mary Loveless; aunts, Linda Rettke, Lelia (Wallace) Ardry, Lisa (Mark) Mabry; and cousins, Logan Ardry, Wesley Ardry, Michael (Yolanda) Mabry; Amelia Mabry, Marla Mabry, Rebecca (Micah) Wyssmann. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jody Rettke; and uncle, Donald Rettke.
