MR. ANDY BROOKS Mr. Andrew Frank "Andy" Brooks, 66, former owner of Brooks Machine Company, Inc. and resident of Shadowbrook Drive, died Friday, November 28, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elton Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday after 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1212, Columbia, Tennessee, 38402. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Mandy Kelly Brooks of Columbia and the late Robert Brooks. He attended Santa Fe school and Columbia State Community College. He was a member of the Benton 111 Masonic Lodge at Santa Fe and served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Lesa Edwards Brooks of Columbia; daughter, Andrea (Barry) Woodard of Lewisburg; three sons, Jeff (Tammy) Brooks, Steve (Jenny) Brooks both of Santa Fe, Jason Brooks of Columbia; two brothers, Les (Shirley) Brooks of Columbia, Fred (Alice) Brooks of Burns; eleven grandchildren, Amanda Brooks, Matt Brooks, Gary Gordon, Alicia Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Austin Starling, Allison Starling, Blake Woodard, Nick Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Drew Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Brooks. Pallbearers will be Tim Harris, Gary Williams, Robert Humphrey, David Ashmore, Chris King and Gary Martin.
