Mrs. Ann Brown Fisher, 69, former resident of Lee Road in the Bear Creek Community, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Everett Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late David M. Brown and Mattie Lou Givens Brown. She was a member of the Sharp's Corner Church of Christ. In 1956 she married Neal M. Fisher who died in 1995. Survivors include a son, Steven M. (Jane) Fisher of Nevada; three sisters, Lois (Gene) Culberson of Nashville, Frances Maxwell and Betty (Robert) Fox, both of Columbia; a step-grandchild; a special friend, Bobbie Lovett of Columbia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fay Brown and a brother, David M. "Mack" Brown, Jr. Active pallbearers are John Edward Gregg, Jimmy Culberson, Barry Gidcomb, Larry Gidcomb, Tim Lee, Mike Lara, Wendell Fisher and Jody Fisher. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Thomas W. Farmer and the Staff of NHC Columbia.
