Ann Evelyn ScottVideo Memories of Mrs. Ann Scott Mrs. Ann Evelyn Cheatham Scott, 83, homemaker and mother and resident of the Mooresville Pike in Culleoka, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Wilkes Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Culleoka Church of Christ, P.O. Box 203, Culleoka, TN, 38451. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Luther Cheatham and Bessie Sue Baxter Cheatham. She was a graduate of Jones High School in Lynnville. After graduating from King's Daughters' School of Nursing she worked as a registered nurse at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Ewell Turner Scott of Culleoka; two sons, Stanley (Debbie) Scott of Culleoka, Dr. Steven (Connie) Scott of Hohenwald; two daughters, Mary (Kelley) Palmer of Plano, Texas, Debra Lehnert of Lawrenceburg; a twin sister, Mary Cheatham of Culleoka; ten grandchildren, Lauren Scott, Daniel Scott, Nathaniel Scott, Andrew Scott, Alina Scott, Jesse Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Charles Lehnert, Justin (Misty) Lehnert and Katie Lehnert; two great-grandchildren, Morgan Lehnert, Cole Lehnert; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Belle Taylor, Bertha Cheatham and five brothers, Thomas Cheatham, Charlie Cheatham, Nat Cheatham, Jesse Cheatham and Bob Cheatham. Pallbearers will be Daniel Scott, Nathaniel Scott, Andrew Scott, Jesse Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Charles Lehnert, Justin Lehnert, Ray Morrow, Dennis Owens and Brian Owens. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Culleoka Church of Christ.
