Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Johnson Stewart, 66, died Monday, December 12, 2005 at her residence on Stonewall Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30p.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5-7p.m. and Wednesday from 4- 8p.m. at the funeral home. She was a 1957 graduate of Jones High School in Lynnville. On September 3, 1957 she married John L. Stewart, Sr. who preceded her in death January 23, 2000. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and private home health sitter. She was a member of Mooresville Pike Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Randall Wayne Stewart and James Glenn Stewart both of Columbia, John L. (Wilma) Stewart, Jr. of Nashville; four sisters, Betty (James) Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant, Peggy Workman of Lynnville, Linda (Steve) Yant of Pulaski, Wanda (Buddy) Beaver of Campbellsville; three brothers, Billy (Doris) Johnson of Columbia, Larry (Faye) Johnson of Ethridge, Mike (Jewel) Johnson of Lynnville; three step-grandchildren, Dustin Brown, Joshua Brown, Kelly Fleming; several nieces and nephews; and beloved grand pups, Taylor and Murphy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Johnson, brother James E. Johnson and daughter-in-law Pamela Stewart. Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Mike Johnson, Billy Johnson, Don Ferguson, James Ferguson, Michael Johnson, H.P. Stewart, Houston Stewart and Terry Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Mooresville Pike Baptist Church.
