View Funeral WebcastAnna "Jean" Hopwood Luttrell Lovett, 65, homemaker and resident of Napier Drive, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Wayne Chumley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Odel Hopwood and Mary Edith Chumley Capps. She was a graduate of Feitshans High School in Springfield, Illinois. Following graduation she went on to further her education in the nursing program at Maury County Hospital. She was a baptized Christian and loved gardening. Survivors include her husband, Charles Lovett, whom she married January 15, 1984; sons, Mike "Buck" (Kimberly Runions) Luttrell of Mt. Pleasant and Larry (Deanna Potts) Luttrell of Columbia; former daughter-in-law, Linda Cleveland Luttrell of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Linda Caroline Hopwood of Texas; brother, Stevie Hopwood of Texas; best friends, Peggy Barnett and Doris Rowland, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Camden "Cam" Luttrell, William "Buddy" Luttrell, Tara Cleveland McCafferty, Justin Runions, Brittney Runions, Brandy Chumley, April Chumley, Aleta Chumley, Tara Chumley, and Carla Chumley; great-grandchildren, Samantha McCafferty and Vanden McCafferty; step-children, Bobbie Ann Lovett, Christy Diane Lovett, and Angie Kay McKee. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Blake "Tony" Chumley; two sisters, Sara E. Hopwood and Brenda Lynn Hopwood Sneed; a brother, Arnold O. "Tootsie" Hopwood; and a special son, Brian McCaleb. Active pallbearers are Darren Jones, Steve "Punkin" Jones, Donnie Spires, Tim Moore, William Rowland, and Mike Rowland. Kenny Marshall and Morris Edmonston will serve as honorary pallbearers.
