Anna May Martin

Mrs. Anna May Renfro Martin, 87, retired nurse and former 45 year resident of River Heights Dr., died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Cleveland Care and Rehab in Cleveland, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Saturday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wayne Pagel officiating. Burial will be in Elkton Cemetery in Elkton, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. The Lake County, California native was the daughter of the late Harry Dixon Renfro and May Eleanor Nichols Renfro. She was married to Joseph Russell Martin who preceded her in death on June 30, 2001. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James Harry and Brenda Martin of Cohutta, Georgia, Glen Russell and Kay Martin of Cleveland, William Henry and Teresa Martin of Maryville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Harvey Renfro and one sister, Eleanor Maude Renfro Jones. Pallbearers will be Jim Martin, Glen Martin, Bill Martin, Tony Martin, Jason Martin and Will Martin.
