ANNA THORNTON Anna Thornton, 62, retired Administrative Assistant at Hardison Land Title, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at her residence on Terrace Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Williamson and Chuck Burnett officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. and Sunday after 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A native of London, England, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Marcus Thornton and Dorothy Christine Hancock Hobbs. Miss Thornton was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by Wanda Tomlin, special family and friends.
