Miss Anne Craige Howard, 71, descendant of pioneer Middle Tennessee settlers and life-long resident of Nashville, died December 26, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Churchyard at Ashwood with The Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church. Miss Howard was a long-time communicant of St. George's Episcopal Church. She is survived by several cousins, including William F. "Billy" Howard of Nashville and close friends, Woods K. Wellborn and John Wellborn of Nashville.
