View Funeral Webcast Mrs. Anne Kirk Ritchie, 83, resident of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Alive Hospice Murfreesboro. Funeral services for Mrs. Ritchie will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at North Boulevard Church of Christ 1112 N. Rutherford Boulevard Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130 with David Dunn officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Worley Cemetery in Hampshire, Tennessee with John Harris officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The family suggests memorials be made to the Greenhouse Ministries 309 South Spring Street Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. Born on January 27, 1939 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh C Kirk and the late Edna Fletcher Kirk. She married Edward Cullum Ritchie on January 2, 1959, and they had just recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. Mrs. Ritchie was retired from the mission field in Switzerland and Belgium, and also worked for the Murfreesboro Symphony as an office assistant. She was a former member of the Middle Tennessee Choral Society. Mrs. Ritchie loved silk painting, seamstress work and was a very hospitable person. She was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ where she taught ladies Bible classes and operated the church bookstore. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Rachel (Scott) Perkins of Abilene, Texas, Rosemary (John) Ramsey of Northport, Alabama and Ronnie (Jana) Ritchie of Nashville; brother, David (Linda) Kirk of Columbia; grandchildren, Andy Perkins, Kirk Perkins, Christopher Perkins, Brooke (Nathan) Warren, Michelle (Rhett) Walker, Christian Ramsey, Reese Ramsey, Anna Lea Ritchie, Caroline Ritchie, Bonnie Ritchie, and Darcy Ritchie. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Leonard “Tommy” Kirk. Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law, grandsons, and grandsons-in-law.
