MRS. ANNETTE HUMPHREY Mrs. Annette Pigg Humphrey, 80, resident of Fly Road in Santa Fe, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday after 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Santa Fe Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Virgil E. Pigg, Sr. and Mittie Ellen Woody Pigg. She was married to Clyde B. Humphrey who preceded her in death March 21, 1996. She was a life-long resident of Santa Fe and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1941. She was a member of Santa Fe Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Givens of Santa Fe; son, Jimmy (Kay) Humphrey of Santa Fe; four grandchildren, Steven Givens, Sheryl Givens Owens, Heather Humphrey, Shelley Humphrey all of Santa Fe; niece, Barbara (Terry) Buie of Santa Fe; two great-nieces; one great-great niece; and four great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil E. Pigg, Jr. and one sister, Kathryn Woody Pigg. Pallbearers will be Charles Pigg, Craig Humphrey, Barry Humphrey, Randell Humphrey, Gary Beard, David Scott, Tommy Humphrey and David Pullum. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Santa Fe Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
