Annie Mae Martin Davidson

November 13, 1918 — August 3, 2006

Mrs. Annie Mae Martin Davidson, 87, long-time resident of Napier Drive in Columbia, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the home of her granddaughter, Rita Allsop in Woodlawn, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jerry Elder officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Fletcher Martin and Sally Mash Martin. She was a member of Porter's Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Smiser Davidson May 5, 1993 and a daughter, Brenda Joyce Davidson in 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Fay (Mallory) Woodard of Southgate, Michigan; five sons, Bobby Joe (Anna) Davidson of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Billy Ray (Charlotte) Davidson of Linden, Tennessee, Gary W. (Ann Jeanette) Davidson of Taylor, Michigan, James C. (Martha) Davison of Lincoln, Michigan, Larry A. Davidson of Woodlawn, Tennessee; a sister, Liz Hickman of Franklin; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Raymond Bock, Michael Allsop, Cory Garrett and Dale Davidson.
