ANTHONY BARRELLA Mr. Anthony Barrella, 73, resident of School Street in Culleoka, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Patrick Connor officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Newark, New Jersey native was the son of the late Carmine Barrella and Anna Barrella. He was employed in the construction business doing masonry work. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Gail Darnell Barrella of Culleoka; daughter, Bonnie (Robert) Barrella-Russin of Maryland; son, Andy (Alicia) Barrella of California; sister, Nancy (Frank) Viggiani of Connecticut; two brothers, Vinnie (Margie) Barrella of Florida, Louis (Gilda) Barrella of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kent Pardon, George Mitchell, Milton Byrdsong, Robert Russin, Whitthorne Hickman and Alan Savage. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. George Azar, Dr. Gibran Naddy, Dr. Moataz Toban and Dr. Ed Benny.
