Anthony Wayne Mabry

Mr. Anthony Wayne "Tony" Mabry, 49, truck driver with Cal-Ark and resident of Alpine Drive, died Monday, December 29, 2003 in Nashville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Rush officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Williamson County native was the son of the late Ernest Paul Mabry and Frances Marie Wells Mabry. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include one son, Justin Paul Mabry of Columbia; one daughter, Jenna Kristen Mabry of Columbia; one sister, Glenda (Bill) Wilson of Culleoka; one brother, Forrest Dale (fiancée, Tanya Attkisson) Mabry of Columbia; one half-sister, Paula Jean (Kenneth) Thatcher of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wheeler, Wesley Mabry, Derek Wilson, Mike Mabry, Mark Mabry and Todd Mabry. Honorary pallbearers will be local owner/operator truck drivers.
