View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Anthony Ray "Tony" Westmoreland, 48, resident of Brown Street., died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. David Simmerman officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date. A native of Great Falls, Montana, he was the son of Earl Ray "Sarge" and Virginia Littlejohn Westmoreland of Columbia. He served in the United States Army. He was formerly a welder and at present was a cook at Sarge's Shack. Mr. Westmoreland was a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Gwenda Roberts Westmoreland of Columbia; son, Daniel Ray Westmoreland of Hampshire; sisters, Melissa Ann "Lisa" (Larry) Petty of Columbia, Kimberly Dawn "Kim" (C.L.) Sullivan of Culleoka; special aunt, Mary Katherine McCracken, Judy Westmoreland and Arliss Littlejohn; uncles, Lloyd Littlejohn, Jack (Mona) Westmoreland, Wendell (Lona) Westmoreland; niece, Kara James; nephews, Todd Cannady, Ryan Hines; and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
