Born November 25, 1943 in Santa Fe, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Prentice Edward Fox and the late Mary Savannah “Archie” Kelley Fox. Arnold proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Jason) Lovell; granddaughters, Bailey, Blaire, and Lillian Lovell; sisters, Peggy (Hutch) Hutcherson, Priscilla “Tina” Grooms, Penny Filson (Gerald Potts), Patsy (Gary) Johnson; brother, Alton (Sharon) Fox; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Austin Junior Fox, Aubrey Fox, Adrian Fox, Arlis Edwin Fox; and sister, Pam Fox Harris.
The Family wishes to express special thanks to his friend and caretaker, Peggy Crowley, and the nurses and staff at Compassus.
Arnold was a friend to all, if you ever met him you found out rather quickly the character he was. He never met a stranger and will be missed for his ability to give a nickname of sorts to anyone he met. Though he had his struggles in life; his greatest joy and accomplishment was his daughter and his three granddaughters. He loved his family and anyone that was honored to call him their friend.
