Mr. Aubary Dale Ring, 74, retired from Union Carbide and resident of Blackburn Lane in Spring Hill, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Brents Ring and Vannie Sudberry Ring. He was a graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mr. Ring was a longtime elder at Eastside Church of Christ before beginning his thirty year membership with New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Faye Connelly Ring of Spring Hill; one son, Randy Dale (Ginger) Ring of Spring Hill; one daughter, Renae (Randy) Fox of Columbia; two brothers, Ray Ring of Columbia, Harvey Ring of Nashville; one sister, Elizabeth "Bo" Curtis of Estill Springs; two grandchildren, Stacey Crowell, Lacey Keeling; two great-grandchildren, Makenna Crowell, Daniel Lawson Keeling; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Horace Ring. Pallbearers will be Tom Johnson, Mike Isbell, Julian Sharp, James Stofel, Jim Blackburn, David Priest, Sammy Edwards and Bill Hardison. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Jones, Clyde Farris, Larry Anderson, James Ed Pollard, Robert Fox, Bill Smith, Tim Anderson, Jimmy Dawson, Ron Strand, the men of New Lasea Church of Christ and retirees of Union Carbide.
