Avery Harding Hickman

Mr. Avery Harding Hickman, 82, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Callis Hickman of Columbia; two sisters, Frances Jett of Columbia, Gladys Pinkleton of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Darryl Jett, Larry Jett, Mike Brown, Donald Paul, Larry Dean Williams and Jimmy Dean. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Columbia Care and Rehabilitation.
