Mrs. Barbara Finney Mrs. Barbara Wayman Finney, 66, widow of James I. Finney, Jr. and former resident of Columbia, died Wednesday in Knoxville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville with Dr. Fredrich Schilling, Jr. officiating. Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel is in charge of arrangements in Knoxville. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Wilkes Cemetery with Rev. Bill Williamson officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at Turnhill Farm, home of John & Sandy Finney, on Pullen Mill Road. The Kingsport, Tennessee native was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville where she had served as Elder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mrs. Finney was the past president of Blount Mansion Association, Tennessee Ornithological Society, and James K. Polk Memorial Association. With her late husband, she had operated Fidelity Sales Corporation in Knoxville. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia F. Ellis of Knoxville; two sons, James I. (Faser) Finney, III, of Richmond, Virginia; John Wayman (Sandra) Finney of Culleoka; grandchildren, James I. Finney, IV and Stewart Davis Finney, both of Richmond, Virginia; Lili K. Finney and Larkin C. Finney, both of Culleoka; and aunt, Mrs. J. L. Burley of Greenville, South Carolina.
