View Funeral Webcast Barbara Joanne Hubbard Erwin, 72, retired insurance agent for State Farm, died Friday, June 12, 2020 at her residence in Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at McCain’s Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3532 McCain’s Lane, Columbia, TN 38401 with Dr. Ed Trimmer officiating. Burial will follow in McCain’s Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Born June 26, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Harris Hubbard and the late Joan Kathleen Peters Hubbard. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Mrs. Erwin was an active business women in Lawrence County. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg. Survivors include her husband, whom she married June 18, 1966, Jonas Dean Erwin of Lawrenceburg; daughter, Deanna (Jon) Cornelius of Brentwood; son, Matt Erwin of Nashville; grandchildren, Kate Cornelius; Ellen Cornelius; Audrey Cornelius; brothers, Jim (Cindy) Hubbard of Conway, Arkansas; Bill (Pam) Hubbard of Brandon, Florida; and sisters, Judy Watson; and Sherry Graham. Active pallbearers will be Jon Cornelius, Frank Watson, Billy Hubbard, Clayton Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Zack Carnahan, and Austin Carnahan.
