Mrs. Barbara Ann Brown Morrow, 71, retired employee of Mt. Pleasant Power System and resident of the Kettle Mills Community, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Morrow Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Columbia Academy, 1101 West Seventh Street, Columbia, Tennessee 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of Ruby Cole Brown of Columbia and the late Charles W. Brown. She was a 1950 graduate of Hay Long High School and attended David Lipscomb University. She was an employee of Mt. Pleasant Power System for more than twenty years. She was a member of Kettle Mills Church of Christ. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Jimmy Morrow of Kettle Mills Community; four daughters, Mrs. Susan (Wayne) Clendenen of Brentwood; Mrs. Melanie (Robert) Gibson of Culleoka; Mrs. Penny (David) Rink of Jonesboro, Georgia; Tracy Rinks (Randy Huey) of Columbia; one son, Kenny (Andrea) Morrow of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Imogene O. Stone of Roswell, Georgia; Mrs. Ruby Dean Few of Lawrenceburg; fourteen grandchildren, Matt Clendenen, Ashley Clendenen, J. R. Morrow, Ginger Morrow, Wendy Adkins, Chris Gibson, Chad Gibson, Adam Gibson, Rachel Rink, Thomas Rink, James Rink, Davis Rink, Adrian Rinks, and Nolan Rinks; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathryn Morrow, Billy Dan (Betty) Morrow, Wayne (Pame) Morrow; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Mash, Virgil Bell, Randy Huey, Chris Gibson, Matt Clendenen, Chad Gibson, J. R. Morrow, and Adam Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, men of Kettle Mills Church of Christ, special appreciation to members of Catheys Creek Church of Christ and friends of community; Dr. Cummins Couch and staff.
