Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Born July 23, 1937 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Love Pugh and the late Louise Duke Pugh. Mrs. Brown was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church, The Nashville Woman’s Club, The D.A.R, and First Families of Tennessee. Survivors include her husband, whom she married July 29, 1955, Alvin R. Brown of Nashville; daughter, Delanie Brennan of Bedford, New Hampshire; son, Al (Trish) Brown of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Alex (Nancy) Brown of Montgomery, Alabama; Austin (Stephanie) Brown of Tampa, Florida; William John “Trey” (Isabel) Brennan, III of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Millicent Brennan of New York; Molly Brennan of New Hampshire; Amelia Brennan of New Hampshire; Maya Brennan of New Hampshire; Tucker Brennan of New Hampshire; great grandchildren, Liam Brennan, Scotland Brennan, McKenna Brennan, Alex Brown, II; brother, Freddy Lynn Pugh; and special niece, Kellie Pugh Casas.
