Mrs. Belle Moon Rhoades, 87, widow of Clarence Evans Rhoades, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at her residence on Taylor Road in the Knob Creek Community. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12:00 noon at Schneider Funeral Home in Galion, Ohio, with Rev. Stanley Ellis and Loyd Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Galion, Ohio. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of local announcements. A native of Ashtabula County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry Moon and Josephine Witter Moon. Survivors include two daughters, Patty L. Rhoades (Joe) Righter of Columbia; Barbara J. Rhoades (Fred) Plank of Welland, Ontario, Canada; one son, Jay D. Rhoades of Mansfield, OH; five grandchildren, Leticia A. Plank Roberts of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; Adam S. Plank of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; Amanda J. Righter of Memphis; Amber N. Righter and Joseph C. Righter, III, both of Columbia; and two great grandchildren, Kristina Roberts and Makayla Roberts, both of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene J. Rhoades, two sisters and three brothers
