Ben Terry Norris

Ben Terry Norris, 62, retired employee of the Baptist Sunday School Board and resident of Old Hickory, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Summit Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Dumser officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Grady Norris and Mildred Carroll Norris White. He served in the Tennessee National Guard. Mr. Norris was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Old Hickory. Survivors include two aunts, Helen Carroll and Mildred Carroll, both of Columbia; and seven cousins, Dottie Ann (Wayne) Malugin of Lewisburg; Freddy Carroll, Mike Carroll, Janice Carroll Hudson, Terry (Wanda Kay) Greenway, Cathy Russell, and Wanda Mitchell. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
