Benjamin Irwin “Ben” Clark, 27, died Monday, January 27, 2025 at his residence in Columbia.

He was born on June 22, 1997 to Mary Nicole Hedrick Rummage and the late Shane Allen Clark in Columbia, TN. Ben graduated from Columbia Central High School in 2016. He loved being outdoors in the backwoods, dropping a fishing line, off roading and golfing with his buddies, as well as vacationing on the sunny beaches in the Gulf of Mexico. Ben was a happy and friendly person that loved his family, friends and most of all his very best friend Deuce, his beloved Catahoula dog.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Nicole Hedrick Rummage (Tim) of Columbia; brothers, Allen Clark (Samantha), Holden Marshall, Owen Brown; sister, Olivia Brown; nieces, Caroline “Suzie” Clark, Daisy Clark, and Raleigh Clark; paternal grandmother Carolyn Lofton (Ray); Ben’s favorite aunt, Cindy Hedrick McNamee (Mark); stepmother, Tara Hunter Clark; aunts, Julie Pendleton (Ronnie) and Carrie Ann Clark; uncles, Chris Clark (Connie) and Frank West (Phyllis); and several cousins including Jody Palacios, Joshua Crunk, Alli Clark, Sarah Phillips, Matthew West, and Joe West.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shane Allen Clark; maternal grandparents, Milton Irwin “Butch” Hedrick and Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Hedrick; paternal grandfather, Douglas Rex Clark; and aunt, Betty Hedrick.
