Mrs. Bernadine Bratton Turner, 76, widow of Clarence W. "C.W." Turner, died Friday, February 16, 2007 at Rosewood Manor. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12:00 Noon at Oakes & Nichols with Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Walter Bernard Bratton and Claude Potts Bratton. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of the Church of Christ. Always a loving wife and mother, Mrs. Turner enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Tennessee Walking Horses. Survivors include a son, Dennis (Betty) Turner of Spring Hill; two daughters, Claudia Kaye (Jerry) Corvin of Culleoka, and Pam Bucks of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters. Active pallbearers are Tony Bratton, David Bratton, Jerry Corvin, Darrell Wilkinson, Darren Warren, and Mark Turner. Honorary pallbearers include Doug Mayberry, Phillip Meissner, Charles Cook, George Nicholson, Dr. Andrew Sisk, Dr. James Kelley, Mike Floyd, Mike Greene, Willie Wyatt, Don Costin, Jimmy Simbeck, Aubrey Davis, Jimmy Campbell, J. P. Due, and the staff of Rosewood Manor.
