MRS. BERNICE CONNELLY Mrs. Bernice Fleming Pratt Connelly, 84, longtime resident of Rock Springs Road, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at NHC Columbia Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White and Ewing Neelley officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Otis Pratt and Mittie Meriah Childress Pratt. She was married to J. C. Connelly who preceded her in death on October 29, 1994. Mrs. Connelly was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Gary Wayne (Nancy) Connelly of Columbia; one daughter, Sherry (Dale) Ring of Spring Hill; one sister, Shirley Stephens of Franklin; five grandchildren, Wayne (Rebecca) Connelly of Hohenwald, Casey (Teresa) Connelly of Franklin, Kentucky; Alan Connelly and Renae (Randy) Fox, both of Columbia; and Randy Ring of Spring Hill; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Lane Connelly and one brother, Lester Pratt. Pallbearers will be Wayne Connelly, Casey Connelly, Alan Connelly, Randy Ring, Randy Fox, and Hubert Connelly. Honorary pallbearers will be men of New Lasea Church of Christ.
