Bessie Williams Wilhoite

Mrs. Bessie Helen Williams Wilhoite, 67, resident of Davis Avenue, died Monday, September 4, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Williams and Etta Mary Derryberry Williams. She was a 1959 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of Highland Church of Christ. She was formerly married to Marion Wilhoite, the father of her son, Glenn (Jeanne) Wilhoite of Nashville. Other survivors include a granddaughter, Brandy Wilhoite of Nashville; three brothers, Jessie Williams of Fayetteville, Jack (Joyce) Williams of Lewisburg and Howard (Ruth) Williams of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
