View Video Webcast Betty Dean Kelley Mash, 86, retired waitress, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Randy Kersey and Stephen Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. till the time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born July 4, 1936 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Dean Kelley and the late Dixie Pearl Anderson Kelley. In 1955, she married Billy Mash who preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. Mash was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening, working at her son’s vegetable stand, and taking care of her yard. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Mash was a member of Main Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Dena Renee (Randy) Russell of Spring Hill; sons, William David Mash of Mt. Pleasant; Carl Daniel Mash of Mt. Pleasant; and grandchildren, Ryan Russell, Ethan (Sophia) Russell, Anna Russell; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Carlos Kelley, Stanley Kelley, Louise Fite, Raymond Kelley, Henry Kelley, R.M. Kelley, Allen Kelley, Benton Kelley, Penny Kelley, Bobby Kelley, Bill Kelley, Ezra Kelley; and a grandson, Matthew Mash. Active pallbearers will be Ryan Russell, Ethan Russell, Bradley Kelley, Robby Ingrum, Richard Lindsey, Anthony Lindsey, and Tom Tindell.
