Video memories of Betty StaceyMrs. Betty Jean Galbreath Stacey, 69, well-known Columbia waitress and resident of Fleming Street, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at the home of her daughter on John Sharp Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ron Eversole officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Shirley Anderson "Buster" Galbreath and Lela Estella Holton Galbreath. She was first married to James T. Lunn and later married Howard Allen Stacey who preceded her in death on December 19, 1967. Mrs. Stacey worked at the Ranch House Restaurant for a number of years and later at Berlin's Restaurant, Holiday Inn, Magnolia House and Henri's On The Square. In recent years, she was caregiver to Mrs. Jean Jones. She was a member of Central Christian Church and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #19. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Lunn (Charles) Morton of Spring Hill; a son, Jeffrey A. (Diana) Stacey of Lebanon; a sister, Shirley (Sammy) Hickman of Columbia; a brother, Robert G. "Sonny" Galbreath of Columbia; four grandchildren, Paxton (Amy) Morton of Mt. Pleasant, Shelley Morton (Corey) Hay of Columbia, Sarah Stacey of Lebanon and Allen Michael Stacey of Columbia; two step-grandchildren, Kathryn Wright and Rachel Wright, both of Murfreesboro; four great-grandchildren, Hunter Morton and Scarlett Barnhill of Mt. Pleasant, Hayden Morton and Shane Hay of Columbia; nieces, Kim Wentzel, Missy Hickman, Beverly Strong and Connie Greene; and a nephew, Robby Galbreath. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wren, Tillman Capes, Dave Capraro, Ed Holton, Morris Thurman, Larry Johnson, Terry Johnson, Larry Dooley, Larry Peach and Dennis Satterfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Morlan, Morris Johnson, Gene Lunn, Jimmy Holton, Jimmy Lunn, Larry Holton, John B.
