Bettye Jean Worley Malugin, 90, Key Punch Operator for CPS in Franklin, died Wednesday, April 26,2023 at Magnolia Healthcare. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Mount Cemetery with Clay Cutler officiating. Born November 3, 1932 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late James Earl Worley, Sr. and the late Lucille Moser Worley. On June 7, 1975, she married William Homer Malugin who preceded her in April 7, 2005. She was a 1950 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mrs. Malugin was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Survivors include her grandchildren, Tracy Worley (Tad) Hickman of Columbia; Ben (Beth) Worley of Thomason’s Station; Lane (Jill) Worley of Pulaski; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Ernest Worley and Roger Lane Worley; brothers, Billy Ray Worley, James Earl Worley, Jr.; and sisters, Bobbie Cabana and Carolyn Sue Worley.
