View Video TributeBeverly Faye Sharpe Wilkes, 73, resident of East Sheepneck Road in Culleoka, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hahira, Georgia native was the daughter of the late Robert Emmitt Sharpe and Avie Lou Wetherington Sharpe. She had been employed at the Lowndes County license tag office. She was a member of Mooresville Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, James Michael (Nancy) Wilkes of Carlsbad, California; daughter, Kimberly (Marcus) Mallette of Belleville, Illinois; grandchildren, Allyn Wilkes and Sara Wilkes both of Carlsbad, California, Anthony (Alicia) Mallette of Spring Hill, Alexandra Mallette of Belleville, Illinois; and great-grandchild, Vincent Mallette of Spring Hill. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
