MR. BILL CRUMLEYMr. Robert Boyd "Bill" Crumley, 73, retired dairy farmer and resident of Frank Moore Road in Culleoka, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk and Rev. V.J. "Dusty" Crumley officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Robert Crumley and Dora Attkisson Crumley. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, Margaret Adams Crumley of Culleoka; four sons, Gary Boyd Crumley, Timothy Jason (Wendy) Crumley, William Tommy (Mary) Crumley all of Culleoka, Jerry Lance Crumley of Columbia; one step-daughter, Mary Ellen (David) Williams of Culleoka; two brothers, V.J. (Evelyn) Crumley, Charles Thomas Crumley both of Columbia; three sisters, Opal Crumley, Jean Davis (Lennie) Valkenberg, Myrtle Chapman all of Columbia; four grandchildren, Justin Crumley, Jonathon Lance Crumley, Jason He was preceded in death by one son; Sammy Edward Crumley.Pallbearers will be Ray Grooms, Jimmy Grooms, Johnny Boyd Cothron, Jim Boshers, Clyde Harris and Mike Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be R.E. Crowder, Doug Crowder, Ricky LeMay and Kenneth Hill.
