MR. BILL WHIDBY Mr. William "Bill" Whidby, 92, retired farmer, carpenter and resident of Overton Drive, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Johnny Mack Young officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery in the Kedron Community. He was the son of the late James Thomas Whidby and Martha Frances Mencer Whidby. He was married to Nancy Louise Brown Whidby who preceded him in death on February 13, 1995. He was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Wilmer Chumley of Columbia; Mary Surita, one sister, Minnie Lou Harrison of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ronald Warner of Richland Hills, Texas; Mary (Douglas) Monroe of North Richland Hills, Texas; Aaron Warner of Nashville; and nine great grandchildren, Nicholas Monroe and Nathan Monroe, both of North Richland Hills, Texas; Allison Warner and Matthew Warner, both of Antioch; Brandy Nicole Chumley and April Dawn Chumley, both of Columbia; Aleta Jill Chumley, Tara Ann Chumley, and Carla Louise Chumley, all of Tullahoma. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Tony Chumley on May 30, 2003.
