Bobbie Matheny Lee

Mrs. Bobbie Matheny Lee, 65, resident of Mason Tucker Drive in Smyrna, died Sunday, October 12, 2003 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at Polk Memorial Gardens with her nephew, Tommy Hight, Jr., officiating. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John A. Matheny and Viola Ferrell Matheny. She was married to Edward Ward Lee who preceded her in death July 19, 2001. She was a 1957 graduate of Central High School and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Cummins of Nashville; one sister, Dotsy Matheny Hight of Columbia; one brother, Wade (Katie) Matheny of Columbia; devoted cousins, Cathey and Billy Thompson of Smyrna; special friend, Linda Tucker of Smyrna; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Malugin.
