Bobby Lee Johnson

Bobby Lee Johnson, 70, retired supervisor for Occidental Corporation, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at his residence on Rockland Drive. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols concluding with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Lunn officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. (est) at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Tennessee with Rev. Bobby Barrett officiating. Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, VU Station B- 357727, Nashville 37235-7727, att: Gift Records or Hospice of the Highland Rim, 1412 Trotwood Avenue, Suite 5, Columbia 38401. The Polk County native served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Joann Barrett Johnson of Columbia; two daughters, Kim (Ron) Kirsch of Brentwood and Karen Perrin of Franklin; a son, Barrett (Candice) Johnson of Columbia; his mother, Anna Rae Johnson Montgomery of Cleveland; grandchildren, Matt Kirsch, Hunter Kirsch, Emily Perrin, and Brooke Perrin; a sister, Lynn (Hoyle) Baker of Cleveland; two brothers, Steve Montgomery of Cleveland and Harry (Sherry) Johnson of Charleston; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Mike Johnson and his step-father, R. F. Montgomery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
