Bobby Eugene Martin

Mr. Bobby Eugene Martin, 61, retired employee of Heritage Manor and resident of Cherry Street, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Mack Martin and Mamie Pullum Martin. He was first married to Dovie Martin who preceded him in death in March of 1991. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Faye Dale Martin of Columbia; step-daughter, Phyllis (Richard) Conner of Columbia; four brothers, Thomas (Aleightha) Martin of Centerville, Roy Martin of Franklin, O. V. (Carolyn) Martin of Pulaski, Walter (Mary) Martin of Columbia; three step-grandchildren, Michael Conner of Woodland Hills, California, Jonathan Conner and Levi Conner both of Columbia; and one step-great-granddaughter, Kylie Conner of Columbia. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
