Bobbye Jean Lankford Roberts Ludden, 83, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, May 13, 2019 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Brian Attkisson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born August 13, 1935 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Lankford and the late Mildred Sims Lankford. A loving and caring mother, family and friends were very important to Mrs. Ludden; and she would always put their needs before her own. She loved her long-haired chihuahua, Holly and enjoyed going to flea markets. A member of Elmore Church of the Nazarene, Mrs. Ludden loved the Lord dearly, and sang with the Joyful Echoes gospel group. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (John) Dotson; grandchildren, Michael Webber, Doyle Webber, Matthew Roberts, David Roberts; great grandchild, Michaela Webber, Wyatt Webber, Ceaira Webber, Joey Webber; sister, Betty Stanley; and nieces, Tracy, Kim, and Tammy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Willie Roberts; special friend, Scott Ludden; son, Willie Randall Roberts; and several aunts and uncles. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include the members of Elmore Church of the Nazarene.
