Mrs. Bonnie Bolton Dukes, 70, resident of Jonesboro, Georgia, died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Billy Dean Felker officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Charles W. Bolton and Eunice Morgan Bolton. She was reared in the Bigbyville Community and was a 1953 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a retired employee of National Car Rental in Atlanta. Survivors include her husband of thirty two years, Art Dukes of Jonesboro, GA; a daughter, Lisa Dukes of Jonesboro, GA; five sisters, Evelyn (Billy) Felker, Shelby (Herman) Hanvy, Betty (Don) Thomas, Letha (Danny) Smith all of Columbia, Mary (Bill) Adkison of Dickson; one brother, Benny (Alice) Bolton of Columbia; one sister-in-law, Glenda Bolton of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Lee Dukes, a brother, William E. (Bill) Bolton, a niece, Missy Smith and a nephew, David Brewer. Pallbearers will be nephews: Johnny Felker, Kevin Felker, Glenn Felker, Glenn Brewer, Jeff Bolton,k Jason Bolton, Kenny Hanvy, Terry Hanvy, Donnie Thomas, Ronnie Thomas, Benjamin Bolton and Matthew Smith. Curtis Turner will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
