Mrs. Brenda Gale Lunn Mayfield, 57, retired technician at NHC Hillview, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at her residence on Mulberry Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Calvin Lunn and Brother Hank Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Spring Hill. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Hugh Lunn and Sarah Frances Cammuse Lunn and a 1970 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Mayfield worked as a private sitter for a number of years. She was a member of Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary and was scheduled to receive her 100 hour pin. She loved to sew and cook and a large part of her life was spent visiting the sick. Her husband, Don Mayfield, died December 17, 2005. Survivors include three brothers, Harry (Evaline) Lunn of Spring Hill, Calvin (Margaret) Lunn of Columbia, and Danny (Bonnie) Lunn of Santa Fe; nephews, John Lunn, Tom (Christina) Lunn, Josh (Cyndi) Lunn, Zak Lunn, and Tyler Lunn; great-nieces and nephews, Destiny Hazlett, Hailey Hazlett, Austin Hazlett, Kaleb Hazlett, Lindze Lunn, MaKayla Lunn, and Addison Lunn. Active pallbearers are John Lunn, Tom Lunn, Josh Lunn, Ronnie Lunn, Ronnie Riley, Jack Gillespie, Danny Cathey, and Zak Lunn. Honorary pallbeaers include Reuben Pruitt, James Cammuse, James Barnes, Jimmy Lunn, Charlie Morton, Harold Parks, Morris Johnson, and members of Mt. Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
