Brenda Kennedy Shephard

Mrs. Brenda Gail Kennedy Shephard, 70 resident of Columbia, and an employee as a CNA at of NHC Franklin died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Logan officiating.  Burial will follow at Pasquo Cemetery in Williamson County.   The family will visit with friends Friday from 10 until time for service at the funeral home. Brenda was born on June 16, 1953 in Athens Ala. to the late Clyde Baxter Kennedy, Sr, and the late.Mary Virginia Houge Kennedy.

 Survivors include her daughters Brenda Beard Himburg of Columbia and Onita (Tandy) Beard of Santa Fe and sons Daniel Beard of Columbia and Houston Beard of Columbia; brothers Tony (Janice) Kennedy of Columbia and Clyde (Karen) Kennedy Jr. of Santa Fe; Thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Beard Holley and her sister Mary Lee Allen.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
