Brian Joseph Files, 46, self-employed welder, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at his residence in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his mother, Dolores Faron Files of Lancaster, New York; brothers, Al (Rose) Files of Bennington, New York and Patrick Files of Sarasota, Florida; sisters, Marlene (Kenny) Benson of Lancaster, New York, Kathy (Bill) Richmond of Rochester, New York, Carol (Richard) Marchewka of Alden, New York, and Annette Files of Orange Park, Florida; his girlfriend, Annette Kratzer of Columbia; a great-nephew and several nieces and nephews.
