View Funeral WebcastBruce Allen Foster, 46, resident of Clubhouse Drive, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with his uncle, Reverend Charles Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born June 26, 1970 in Coffee County, he was the son the late Raymond Lee Foster and Mildred Marie Justice Foster. The 1991 graduate of Spring Hill High School was a member of the Alabama Fan Club. An avid country music listener, he especially liked the band Alabama. Bruce enjoyed going to family gatherings, Wal-mart, and Pickwick Dam. He had a love for the Civil War and participating in the Special Olympics. He never forgot anyone and no one forgot him. Survivors include his sister, Jan Foster (Johnny) Watkins of Columbia; brothers, Jerry Foster of Columbia, Ray "Don" (Donna Reed) Foster of Chapel Hill, Bobby (Ann) Foster of Culleoka; several nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephew, Daniell Kirtley of Rapid City, SD, Janean Greer of Unionville, Ricky Glaser of Vicksburg, MI; special friends, Rebecca Lamar, Kyle Foster, Derek Dawson, Daniel Gobble; and special caregivers and extended family, Rita Brunson, Judy Bills, Nikki James, Danetta Cloyd, Shirley Crews, Liz Harnisch, Kelsey Williams, Christy Simbeck, Hannah Simbeck, Georgia Brewer, Gloria Whitaker, and Ashley Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gearld "Toody" Dewayne Foster, Forrest Raymond "Ronnie" Foster; and sister, Linda Sue Hurd. Active pallbearers will be Ricky Glaser, David Foster, Matthew Cloyd, Derek Dawson, Daniel Gobble, Corey Conner, and Charles McGaw. Honorary pallbearers include member of the Spring Hill High School Class of 1991, and doctors and staff of Dr. Thomas Quinn's office at Maury Regional Medical Center.
