Carlene Goad

Miss Margaret Carlene Goad, 74, former employee of the Impact Center and resident of Signature Health Care, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Steve Swango and Rev. Harvell Stockard officiating. Burial will be in Knob Creek Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Carl Whitfield Goad and Willie Mae Paul Goad. She was a long-time faithful member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She attended Maury County schools and was a resident for several years at King's Daughters School. Survivors include a niece, Sarah E. Goad of Columbia; a nephew, Carl Stephen (Jennifer) Goad of Lewisburg; cousins, Ray (Wilma) Goad of Smyrna and Glenn Goad of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Goad. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include employees of the Impact Center, residents of King's Daughters School, and Staff of Signature Health Care.
